Store A Gun Safely
Many of us regarded a semi-automatic rifle/handgun as the foundation of a home defense battery. Many of us believe that more laws banning ever more types of guns may be imminent. Deciding to stash away a firearm in a safe place just in case, is becoming a real life possibility. First order of business is to decide how to prepare the gun for long-term storage and where to store it. When burying firearms and ammunition, the key is to prevent moisture from damaging either steel or gunpowder. Obviously they need to be waterproofed completely so as to not allow contact with rainwater. This is why stable temperatures are so important and burying below the frost line is important. Each 6 mil bag should contain at minimum of 1 ounce of Strikehold Marine or 1 1/2 ounces of Strikehold regular formula prior to being sealed.
